About

Marco Valerio Antonini is a Los Angeles-based Italian composer and orchestrator. He writes music for motion pictures, television and videogames. He studied Composition and Orchestration at the "Santa Cecilia" conservatory of Rome, and graduated in Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television from the University of Southern California. He also attended the ASCAP Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis in Los Angeles, and was awarded the ASCAP Steve Kaplan TV&Film Studies Award.

The Bag and The Bike premieres tonight on YouTube! After a stream of successes during its festival run, director David Haye will now premiere the film at 7pm PDT, and you can watch it at

The little Backpack's journey is also a bit of a musical journey: the film was part of the 2018 Los Angeles Live Score Film Festival, and premiered with live-to-picture music performed by the Helix Collective. What you'll hear tonight is a subsequent studio recording at Sonic Fuel Studios in Los Angeles.

Today is the day! Fort Triumph is out for PC on Steam at the link below. Congratulations to the entire team at Cookiebyte Entertainment in Tel Aviv. After a showcase at GDC Indie Megabooth 2016, the game went through a successful crowdfunding campaign, with a successful Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight, then achieved Steam Early access, and it's now commercially available. Console releases will follow. You can listen to a sample of the score in the game playlist.

It feels particularly fulfilling when your work has even the smallest chance of actually making a contribution to something that really counts. DakotaChrome was selected for New York City's "Disorder - The Rare Disease Film Festival", "a new event showcasing films from around the world which address the challenges of life with a rare disease." Our film deals with the delicate issue of living with MS, and director David Haye and myself are honored to be part of such an important and informative event.
