StartFragmentTomorrow it'll be a very special day. For the second time, this year, I will be conducting a 64 piece orchestra, performing my second re-scored scene from the animation movie Rango (yes, again!). This time the stage is the Alfred Newman Scoring Stage at the 20th Fox Studios, where iconic milestones of the history of film music such as The Sound of Music, Jaws, Planet of the Apes, Star Trek, The Matrix were scored. It is the final session of the 2016 ASCAP TV and Film scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis.EndFragment
StartFragmentA little bit late, I'm happy to announce that I was selected for the 2016 ASCAP Film & Television Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis. Tomorrow it'll be the first date of the workshop with the 11 fellow students from all over the world. Looking forward to make new friends!
Today I have been honored with the 2016 Henry Warren Screen Composer award, in a splendid ceremony at the USC Town and Gown Ballroom, as a part of the celebration for the Class of 2016 Commencement. This marks the very end of this wonderful year at the USC Thornton School of Music, as a student in the prestigious Scoring For Motion Pictures and Television program. I want to pay my tribute to our sublime Chairman Daniel Carlin, as well as the Dean of USC Thornton School of music Robert Cutietta.
